Volunteer
Want to become a Pentacle Theatre Volunteer?
Pentacle Theatre is a volunteer-based organization that thrives through the commitment of many people. We would not be successful without the help and support of our volunteers, on stage, backstage, and all around the theater.

Hospitality
Volunteers greet patrons at the door, show them to their seats, serve concessions, then enjoy a complimentary seat to watch the show. Contact Kimberly Houser Taylor if you’d like to sign up!
Hospitality Expectations
- Our volunteers are the face of the theater. We ask that you wear dressy-casual attire for representing our theater. We provide blue smocks so patrons recognize who to contact if they need assistance.
- When volunteering for an evening performance, call time is 6:30 PM.
- When volunteering for a matinee, call time is 1:00 PM.
- Volunteers meet in the lobby and check in with the house manager. Please be flexible as we often have unforeseen needs and may ask a volunteer to serve in a position other than the one they signed up for.
- All positions are very easy to learn. If you are new to our hospitality guild, we train you when you arrive for your shift.
- As a volunteer on the hospitality guild, your first duty is to the patrons. However, all volunteers are invited to watch the performance the date they volunteer. We have reserved seats for the volunteers.
- You may volunteer for more than one performance of a show, and either watch the show multiple times or leave after your duties are complete. Again, we ask you to remain flexible as we may have unforeseen needs.
