There is light at the end of this very odd tunnel.
For months (fourteen and counting) the Pentacle Theatre stage has been dark.
No dramatic lines recited.
No rousing choruses.
But you and your support have
Made us smile.
Given us hope.
Allowed us to press on.
It now looks like we might (and I stress might) be able to do some outside performances in the next few months. We are planning on bringing back a partial in-the-theater season starting in January 2022.
And … we still need your support – sustaining support from 50 of you. We do. Even though our staff is half of what it was at the beginning of the pandemic, I can attest that they are working hard for you. They are making sure Pentacle Theatre can launch performances once again. They are ensuring that the Pentacle Theatre facility is in excellent shape to support all the dramas and comedies and musicals you have missed.
During this dark time, so many of you have stepped up and gone above and beyond with your generosity. You are providing that light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you.
At the beginning of the pandemic, we asked you to become a Sustaining Circle member. 51 of you stepped up and joined. We are so grateful. Now, we’re looking for 50 more of you to become Sustaining Circle donors.
If you aren’t a Sustaining Circle member yet, it makes sense to become one.
You can give a monthly amount that’s right for you.
Your donation helps Pentacle Theatre have a steady stream of income.
Once you set it up…no muss, no fuss – your donation is consistently making a difference.
I’m asking you to become a Sustaining Circle member. We’re looking for 50 of you!
As the Vice-President of your Governing Board and the Chair of your Finance Committee, I’m privy to the impact that COVID-19 has had on Pentacle … on your – on our – community theater. I’ve witnessed the sacrifices made through budget cuts. But I also know the incredible impact your gifts, and the monthly Sustaining Circle gifts, have had on Pentacle Theatre. Whatever you decide to give on a monthly basis ($5, $10, $50) will make a big impact on the theater.
If you haven’t done so, please consider becoming a Sustaining Circle member. I dare say, you won’t regret it.
Thank you. You are the light at the end of our tunnel.
Here’s to the day when we will all be together again, laughing, crying, and singing right along enthralled by what we are witnessing on that magical Pentacle Theatre stage. Maybe – just maybe – you’ll see me on the stage again, too.
